with the days getting shorter and greyer, there is no better timing than now for the latest artsnug exhibition “mid-century pop”, celebrating the colourful world of pop art.

with “mid-century pop” the sussex-based design studio art & hue will showcase the best of their pop art prints. the work has been inspired by themes like cult film & tv of the 1960s, mid-century modernism and architecture.

the highlights of “mid-century pop” are art & hue’s brutalism architecture and jet set airport collections, the latter of which was even featured in elle decoration october issue.

jet set collection celebrates the mid-century travel hubs including the iconic theme building at lax, eero saarinen’s terminals at jfk and dulles, and lambert airport in st. louis, conceived by minoru yamasaki in 1955, which is widely regarded by many as the template of modern airport design.

brutalist architecture prints are inspired by the optimistic and space age concrete architecture of the 1960s, referred to as brutalism. on show will be pop art prints celebrating modernist london buildings including centre point, space house, welbeck street car park, and the barbican estate.

all art & hue prints are available in a wide choice of 16 colours and are printed on thick 310gsm fine art archival matte paper, acid-free and made from 100% cotton.
