the artist

alice is a passionate young artist, designer and illustrator with a unique visual language. she uses pattern and colour to bring new life to familiar landscapes, documenting areas she loves with her signature bold colour palette and mark making. after studying illustration at falmouth university, alice moved to london and worked as a print designer for high street retailers. based in walthamstow for some time, alice developed a collection of illustrations showcasing her favourite spots in walthamstow - paying particular attention to lloyd park throughout the seasons.

the story

the bright, blooming marigolds are the star of this artwork, laid like a colourful blanket before the distinctive and newly developed walthamstow town hall. the abundant flowers infuse the view with life, energy and joy – reflecting the love and attention which has recently been paid to the regeneration of this area. now a social, family-friendly and buzzing local space for the community to gather.

this artwork is an original painting by alice, measuring 24.6 x 17.9 cm. the piece is sold mounted and framed in a white wood frame with uv filter glass. the framed piece measures 38.4 x 30.7 cm.

due to the artwork being framed, we recommend a courier delivery at an additional packaging & postage cost of £12. the artwork is free to pick up from our walthamstow snug.
