the artist

alice is a passionate young artist, designer and illustrator with a unique visual language. she uses pattern and colour to bring new life to familiar landscapes, documenting areas she loves with her signature bold colour palette and mark making. after studying illustration at falmouth university, alice moved to london and worked as a print designer for high street retailers. based in walthamstow for some time, alice developed a collection of illustrations showcasing her favourite spots in walthamstow - paying particular attention to lloyd park throughout the seasons.

the story

It was a winter’s day when alice walked through lloyd park and felt immediately struck by the zesty lime colour of the euphorbia – popping dramatically amidst the dark, dull colours of this quiet season. with plains of dark blue and luscious green, she pulls us right into this moment with her. the rolling riverbanks move us through the artwork, along the stream with 3 little ducks who sit joyfully atop the cool water. bathed in a gently glowing peach light – we feel the crisp air all around. 

the artwork

this artwork is a fine art print on 310gsm hahnemühle german etching paper using lightfast inks. it measures 14.8 x 21 cm (a5) and is mounted to 24 x 30 cm. the print is available framed in a white wood frame measuring 27 x 33 cm.
