artist's bio

john is a uk based photographer, whose work includes landscape, people and nature. as a nature photographer he finds inspiration in wild flowers. his interest is not in flowers as botanical specimens, but the joy of viewing them closely and in detail.

his technique is to capture macro images and then to paint each image digitally to capture their ethereal quality and share their charm.

john has a licentiateship of the royal photographic society and his work has featured in their publications.
