the artist

alice is a passionate young artist, designer and illustrator with a unique visual language. she uses pattern and colour to bring new life to familiar landscapes, documenting areas she loves with her signature bold colour palette and mark making. after studying illustration at falmouth university, alice moved to london and worked as a print designer for high street retailers. based in walthamstow for some time, alice developed a collection of illustrations showcasing her favourite spots in walthamstow - paying particular attention to lloyd park throughout the seasons.

the story

alice stands with us on a bridge, gazing across the moat in lloyd Park. it’s the season where everything bursts into life. we see sprays of fern and explosions of foliage – abstracted and moving energetically across this vignette. the euphorbia and willow tree casting full and lively shapes. the dappled water with echoes of recent movement. if you look carefully you will find the steadfast warner flats peeping through the periphery of the park -  holding a special place in this artist’s heart. 

the artwork

this artwork is a limited edition of 50 giclée print on 310gsm hahnemühle german etching paper using lightfast inks. iit measures 42 x 29.7 cm (a3) and has been mounted to fit a 50 x 40 cm frame. the artwork is sold framed in a contemporary matt white wood frame, measuring 53 x 43 cm.
