NEW ARTIST | ADRIANA JAROS
Adriana is a multidisciplinary artist originally from Caracas, Venezuela and now based in Walthamstow. She studied visual communications in Venezuela and then textiles at UAL, London.
In her studio practice she explores the interaction of colour, shape and material - asking how these elements can elevate our senses, affect our human consciousness and in turn create aesthetic experiences that enhance our wellbeing. Working within a variety of disciplines including drawing, painting, sculpture and collage, Adriana plays with the idea of deconstruction - finding ways to subvert traditional image-making and build something new.

NEW ART | DAN WHITESON
Fascination with the human form anchors Tottenham-based artist Dan Whiteson’s work firmly in the figurative realm. An experimental artist and life drawing teacher, Dan is inspired by human physicality and representation. His graphic and confident work has roots in cubism but offers a fresh, contemporary approach to this familiar genre.
Dan is particularly interested in how the human form interacts with digital media and ‘the digital age’. He explores the intersection of the human body and technological advancement, building a visual language which interrogates ideas surrounding the fragmentation of the self.
