Jonathan Lawes’ ‘Fraser I’ and ‘Fraser II’ form a striking diptych that reflects his love of geometry, pattern and colour. Jonathan builds each composition through an evolving printing process, allowing the works to develop organically as layers are added, masked and revealed.

Blocks of colour overlap and intersect, with carefully hidden areas giving way to unexpected flashes of intensity. There is a strong sense of structure beneath the surface, balanced by a looseness that keeps the compositions fluid and dynamic. Together ‘Fraser I’ and ‘Fraser II’ showcase Jonathan’s keen eye for colour relationships and his fascination with how geometric forms can shift, soften and come alive through layering.

This is an original screen print, signed on the front by the artist. The artwork is sold bespoke framed in a solid wood black frame in natural grain finish, framed behind low-reflect glass. Framed artwork measures 52 x 72 cm.

Due to this being a framed artwork, there is an additional postage & packaging charge of £25. The artwork is free to pick up from our gallery in Walthamstow.
