about the artist

Having grown up in the South West of England, the inspiration for Clare’s work comes from the buildings that surrounded her and nostalgic reminisces of places and items of interest. Within each image, design, pattern and colour plays an important part, adding depth and decoration to build an aesthetically pleasing overall effect.

In the enchanting ‘Winter Rose’, Clare captures the quiet beauty of the Christmas rose, its hand-finished copper detailing echoing the gentle radiance of a flower that blooms against the odds. Pushing up through mid-winter frost and snow, the winter rose has long been associated with hope, endurance, and rebirth – its pale, rose-like petals offering a rare brightness when the world lies at rest.

It is available in one size 24 x 21 cm (image size 21 x 17 cm) and is available unframed and mounted 30 x 40 cm or framed mounted in a distressed gold frame measuring 27.5 x 36 cm.

delivery

We undertake to dispatch the item within 3 days of receiving the order and it will be sent via royal mail at an additional packaging and postage cost of £8 for the unframed artwork and £12 for the framed artwork.
