about the artist

clare halifax is a london-based artist who grew up in the south west of england. her intricate artworks demonstrate an incredibly skilful use of line and pattern, as well as her love for representation and design. clare is passionate about botanical art as well as cityscapes, architectural forms and animals. with a background in textile design, she carefully balances design, pattern and colour in each work to create a contemporary work which connects to a particular place, city, building or vignette of the natural world. 

about the artwork

this is one of clare's new original still life artworks. it is a completely unique piece, created using carat d’aches pastel pencils on 160 gsm paper.

the artwork is size 40.6 x 30cm and is sold bespoke framed with a soft white mount and a white wood grain box frame. the framed size is 42.3 x 52.7 cm.
