the artist

jonathan creates prints with a distinctly graphic edge, reflecting his love of geometry and pattern. working in a loose, organic way, abstract compositions are formed and ultimately develop as his printing process evolves. he has a keen eye for colour and layering techniques, masking some areas off while revealing flashes of intense colour in others.

the story

jonathan’s new limited edition print is dynamic, full of energy. inspired by the famous art deco facade of walthamstow stadium – he utilised a bright and enticing colour palette to recapture the thrill and excitement of a day at the races. you can imagine the chaos and  atmosphere of days long gone - when walthamstow stadium was at full throttle. he cleverly uses shape to mimic some aspects of the architecture of this iconic building, pulling us into a familiar and yet completely abstracted composition.

about the artwork

this is a limited edition of 17 screen print, signed on the front by the artist. it measures 29.4 x 42 cm and is sold unframed or framed in a slim aluminium frame with a black oak veneer measuring 30.7 x 43 cm.

we undertake to dispatch the artwork within 3 days from receiving the order. there is an additional postage charge of £8 for the unframed artwork and £15 for the framed artwork.
