about the artist

sarah is a local hackney based artist inspired by her walks around the hackney and walthamstow marshes. her paintings document paths taken and colours emerging over the changing seasons. balancing fine painterly detail with loose gestural mark-making, sarah enjoys exaggerating her colour palette and infusing her source images with vibrancy and energy - bringing a fresh approach to contemporary landscape painting.

the story

‘my recent work is an appreciation of the green spaces and nature reserves of the lea valley and the impact of nature on wellbeing. this work is a study of lilies and reflections on a little bridge at walthamstow wetlands. i enjoyed finding a balance between realistic representation and playing with abstract, flat marks.’ - sarah

about the artwork

this is a limited edition of 50 fine art print on german etching paper, signed and numbered by the artist. the image size is 42 x 42 cm and the print measures 50 x 50 cm. it is sold unframed or framed in a white wood frame, measuring 54 x 54 cm.

delivery

there is a p&p cost of £8 to send the unframed print with Royal Mail tracked and insured delivery. for the framed artwork this increases to £15.
