about the artist

johanna is a London based artist who explores contemporary portraiture and the female gaze. her large scale original works are created by pouring layers of diluted oil paint on a flat canvas in a series of translucent and fluid layers, rarely using a paintbrush.

“ink study 51” is a limited edition of 50 giclee print of an ink and watercolour and collage painting. the print is size 71.5 x 93.5 cm and is framed in a natural oak contemporary frame.
